Vince Vella

A talented artist and art therapist, Vincent Vella has shown his work in galleries from Cape Cod to the Hudson Valley, and helped many people through his work as a therpaist. He was born in Rome, NY, he studied at SUNY New Paltz and at Empire State College NY. Vince Vella died in 2012 at the age of 66. His luminous pastels were donated by his wife to Carrie Haddad Gallery. The proceeds from sales are donated to non-profit organizations in Columbia County.

So far, the gallery has been able to donate to Animalkind, Columbia County Probation Offices, The Roeliff Jansen Community Library, Columbia Memorial Hospital, Salvation Army Daily Soup Kitchen, Columbia Greene Community College, The Salvation Army Hudson, A B Shaw Fire Company, the Hudson Little League, Dollars for Scholars, benches in the gazebo at Courthouse Square and The Friends of Clermont.
